I built The Art of 8 because I needed it.
I've been training Muay Thai since 2018, after a random recommendation from a hotel in Thailand turned a vacation into the start of an obsession. Since then I've trained in gyms across Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal and Malaysia.
By day I work as a digital marketer. In the evenings I build this directory — a global list of Muay Thai gyms, fighter profiles, and the practical info I wish I'd had when I was planning my first training trip.
The Art of 8 is independently run from Amsterdam. Gyms and camps are listed based on editorial judgment — not paid placement. Information is verified against gym websites, public reviews, and (where possible) firsthand visits.
