About the Gym
Climent Club is one of Spain's best known combat-sports gyms and the training home of UFC champion Ilia Topuria and his brother Aleksandre. It was opened in 2008 by Argentine brothers Agustin and Jorge Climent, both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts, who are Topuria's personal coaches.
Across 800 square meters of mats and a full MMA cage, the club teaches MMA, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling and Muay Thai, and it is open to adults and kids from age five. Muay Thai is one discipline among several rather than the focus, so this is an MMA and BJJ gym where you can also train Muay Thai under coaches who have produced a world champion.
Membership runs from 60 euro a month for one discipline up to 150 euro for all five, with a 20 euro registration for new students and 45 euro private lessons. The gym sits on Calle Burgos in central Alicante.
