About the Gym
Domin8 Academy (formerly known locally as NJB) is a martial arts gym whose core specialism is Muay Thai, with boxing and BJJ also offered, catering from age five. Head coach and founder Nathan Bendon brings 20+ years of competition and four world titles, supported by an unusually deep bench: Jon Whitehouse, Edmund Ferreira (Thailand competitor; Area and English champion; 2022 Knockout of the Year), Robert Peacock (Thailand-trained, traditional scoring/technique focus) and Damian Benak (Area champion). Pad Blast conditioning sits alongside the technical classes.
The coaching is widely praised. As with many gyms, memberships run on a minimum-term contract, so it's worth reviewing the membership terms and cancellation policy before signing.
