About the Gym
K-Star Legacy in Halesowen is part of the long-running K-Star Thai Boxing family and is headed by two-time world champion Damien Trainor, alongside coaches Simon Whitehead and Damon. Reviewers consistently rate Damien among the best Muay Thai coaches in the UK, with a technical, fight-IQ-focused style and a no-ego, relaxed atmosphere that suits both casual trainees and serious fighters.
The gym runs 25+ classes a week over six days, structured from kids and teens through adult beginner, intermediate and fighter levels, and membership gives access across the wider K-Star network. As with any busy gym there's the odd critical review, but the weight of feedback is strongly positive.
