About the Gym
Fidan Gym, in Gestel, has built one of the warmest reputations in Eindhoven's combat-sports scene — reflected in an exceptional review profile. Coach Fidan, with over 33 years in the sport, leads a gym where the emphasis is on community as much as technique; members describe feeling they belong somewhere, training hard and helping each other. Adults train in a mixed group that welcomes complete beginners and experienced athletes alike, working on pads, bags and partner drills, with sparring always voluntary.
The gym is notably broad and family-friendly. Children can start from age three, in age-grouped classes (3-5, 6-11, 12-15) that teach respect, self-control and discipline alongside the physical side. There's also a dedicated women-only training twice a week, designed as a safe, comfortable full-body workout. Note that Fidan Gym combines kickboxing and muay thai rather than being a pure muay thai school — a great fit if you want an accessible, community-driven gym for the whole family, with muay thai as part of the mix.
