About the Gym
Usera Fight Club, run by coach Pablo Martínez, is one of Madrid's most broadly equipped contact-sports schools, covering muay thai, boxing, kickboxing and K1 for all levels and ages. Martínez brings an unusually deep CV: a Madrid-born former professional fighter (now retired through injury) with national K1 and kickboxing titles, he holds coaching and refereeing certifications across multiple bodies (WAKO, CEKT, WBC Muay Thai) and served as a coach for Spanish national teams at the ISKA World Championships between 2016 and 2019. The gym is also explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly.
Most members describe well-prepared classes, excellent facilities and a strong family feel, with particular praise for how beginners are looked after and for Martínez's personal training. In the interest of an honest picture, a minority of reviews report poor front-desk treatment and disputes over offers and pricing — so while the coaching reputation is high, a trial visit to judge the fit for yourself is worthwhile. As with several Madrid clubs, note this is a multi-discipline contact-sports school rather than a pure muay thai specialist — a good fit if you want variety and high-level coaching across several striking arts under one roof.
