Grandmaster Luis Alves, one of the founding figures of Brazilian Muay Thai, ran gradings and awarded prajieds at this academy, and older reviewers refer to it as a traditional Muay Thai school. Vinicius teaches now and is described as strong on method, with students coming for conditioning as well as technique.
