About the Gym
Slagskeppet sits inside the Royal Tennis Hall complex on Östermalm with a substantial dedicated Muay Thai dojo plus a separate free-weights and functional training area. The structure spans age groups thoughtfully: Mini Nak Muay (4-6 years), Thai Kidz (7-11), Next Generation (12-15), through to elite competition for adults. Pricing is transparent: martial arts subscriptions run 595 SEK/month on a 12-month commitment up to 795 SEK/month on rolling terms, with separate gym-only memberships from 395 SEK/month. There's also a premium 'KAPTEN' tier at 1,795 SEK/month that includes a monthly PT session, laundry service, private locker, and equipment storage — unusual in a Stockholm Muay Thai gym and squarely aimed at busy professionals. A 400 SEK annual association membership is required across all subscriptions. An honest note: this is a serious competitive culture, which is a strength for those wanting structure and progression but means the bar for casual drop-in tourism is higher than at gyms positioned as fitness-first. For anyone moving to or living in Stockholm who wants pure Muay Thai with a clear development pathway, this is the address.

Head Coach
Peter Lööf
Peter Lööf has been named best trainer in Swedish martial arts and was a finalist for the Eldsjäl of the Year award in recognition of his work with young athletes. His coaching philosophy explicitly combines deep martial arts technique with biomechanics — the goal being to teach the body to function optimally regardless of student level. He has trained numerous Swedish national team fighters and elite competitors. His instructional methodology applies consistently from absolute-beginner classes through to elite competition preparation, which is one reason the club functions as a coherent training pipeline rather than separate parallel tracks.
