About the Gym
What's offered: Thai boxing and kickboxing across all levels, plus a dedicated girls' session (Mondays, with Linnéa and Cattis instructing), lunch sessions, morning Muay Thai sessions (07:00-08:00 Mondays and Wednesdays), beginner classes, mixed sessions, advanced sessions with sparring, and a competition group. There's also a yoga class on Fridays. Kids' programs (ages 6-11) run on weekends. The schedule is dense — the gym is open year-round across all four semesters (winter, spring, summer, autumn). The annual unlimited training card is 7,900 SEK + 300 SEK membership fee (7,500 SEK for students), which is competitive for Stockholm given the volume of available sessions. Equipment loaning is available for beginners. For anyone on Södermalm or south Stockholm wanting an established Muay Thai club with proven longevity and a warm member culture, this is the natural choice.

Head Coach
Timo
Timo is the lead coach and head figure at Svea Muay Thai, repeatedly named in long-form member reviews as the reason students stay for years and decades. He is described as knowledgeable, patient, and personable — qualities that members credit for the club's enduring community. The coaching team also includes Henri (morning sessions), Hasse, Janne, Peppe, Simon, Christoffer (beginner classes), Linus, Petter, Chris, Ogge, CJ (advanced and continuation), Olle (kids), Kalle, Linnéa, Cattis (girls' session), and Ilir/Ulrika (Sunday mixed). This roster depth is uncommon for a Muay Thai-focused club.
